Subject : paperback and unibond

I'm helping out a friend who needs some paperback veneers laid up on 1/4 inch ply. Is unibond the best glue for this application, any suggestions, techniques, or things to avoid with paperback veneers? I have only worked with traditional veneers so far. Thanks in advance.....

Mark,Unibond 800 will work very well on paper backed veneer. Because most paperbacks are not overly absorbent I recommend a light coat on both the paper and substrate. This assures a good bite into the paperback. On raw veneer apply glue only to the substrate.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I'm helping out a friend who needs some paperback veneers laid up on 1/4 inch ply.
