Darryl:I've read the responses on the forum concerning the discoloring of curly maple veneer. It seems neither Unibond or PVA glue eliminate the problem. Is there a way to get around this? I have beautiful curly maple veneer and would prefer not to have to color in order to hide the "pinkish" problem.Thank you.

Dave,The discoloration in maple can be caused by a number of different things and show up in a number of different ways and colors. Often one maple veneer will discolor and the next one won't. My suggestion is this, try a sample of the veneer you are planning to use with the glue of choice and see what happens. If you dont have any problems then you should be fine. If you do have problems post it on this forum and we can address your specific situation.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Darryl:: I've read the responses on the forum concerning the discoloring of : curly maple veneer.
