Is it absolutely necessary to build a male and female form when veneering a curved piece? I've read about others using just the male form, but i can't figure out how they keep the veneer from sticking to the form when pressing the female side.any advice/help appreciated.

Frank,With a vacuum press you only need the male form. The veneer sticking to the form on the female side is easily solved with a piece of plastic between the form and veneer.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Is it absolutely necessary to build a male and female form when : veneering a curved piece?
