Need to reveneer with crotch Mah. the end (31" X 8"), of square piano. Small piano, with all 4 square corners. Picture of one just like it on ebay #886517201. Top easy to clamp as there is a 3/4" wall, open down 4" inside. Bottom has a 3" wide flat molding clear across which protudes 1/4" I can use long pipe clamps (3 or more)under the entire length, (6 feet) and on each side, but the molding at the bottom makes it a bit difficult. I/we can do this ok, but is there an easier way? I guess contact cement is out? Too big for a bag.

Harold,Sorry I missed your previous post, somehow I didnt see it. Anyway, there is a technique where you can use vacuum to clamp something that will not fit in the bag by attaching a piece of plastic around the area that you want to veneer and the vacuum draws the plastic against the surface. Its a bit leaky since the item itself is not in the bag which will cause the pump to run continuously to compensate for leaking.
