I was wondering about the spread rate for Unibond One. Is it different than Unibond 800? I tried some on some small flat panels a few months ago and did not have complete adhesion, resulting lots of repair.

Because Unibond one has "tack" and a shorter open work time applying more glue is generally advised.

Unibond 800 on the other hand has no tack and a long open work time. so less glue is required to be sure both surfaces "wet out" well for good adhesion.

Unibond One and Unibond 800 are very different glues and the same approach you have used with Unibond 800 does not always apply with Unibond One.

Hope this helps.
