Wrinkles in 4 mill plastic film between work and a caul will in a vacuum bag leave a gulley in the show face. But the plastic is sold folded up, so wrinkles are already present when it's purchased. A few hours in the vacuum bag perfectly flat will press wrinkles out, but that's not convenient. Anyone found a simple way to remove wrinkles? I may try waving the nozzle of a hot air gun over the film to see what that does.

Very gently I warmed the plastic film and it did seem to relax some of the set wrinkles. Don't know if it also weakened the film.
