I need to make a tackboard for a cabinet. Any thoughts on whether homosote can be laminated to 1/2" ply"? It doesn't seem to stay very flat unless restrained, and I want to minimize the number of screws needed to hold it in place.

Tim,

I dont see why not, although I would do a test just to be sure. Its not all that dense so I would assume you could easily rip it up from your 1/2" ply and leave a layer still glued down.
