Subject : large conf table

OK, I've made several torsion box 1/4,1",1/4" mdf and cardboard, but never a large multiple piece. Do you normally just use draw bolts to assemble pcs? Or would it justify a custom bag, (table is boat shaped 7'x30' and must be two halves)

Dean,

Unless you do it in 6 pieces it looks like you'll need a custom bag. I always think the less joints the nicer it looks, but are you comfortable handling a 7'x 15' top? Maybe 4 pieces would be reasonable?

You'll have to use some form of draw bolt with spines. I always used tite-joint fasteners.
