Subject : Veneer between 3/8 bending ply

You recommend putting a layer of veneer between two layers of 3/8 bending ply @ 90 degrees. As I need to tape these faces the tape needs to be left on when pressing. Will this cause problems?

Not at all, but using 2 or 3 hole veneer tape would be best in this application.
