Subject : uses of thicker veneer edgebands

can anyone please elaborate on the uses of thicker veneer edge bands such as 2mm, 3 mm, 4mm etc. can anyone please guide as to for which uses thicker edge bands are mandatory as compared to the regular 0.6 mm or the 1 mm.

I am not sure what you are exactly meaning, but we use the 3 mil banding for shaping. We put a variety of different shapes into the 3 mil bands at our plant. that is the only thing we use the thicker edge banding for
