Is there much of a difference between the Lynx veneer saw and others sold through rocklers ???

If I recall correctly I bought one of these saws to see if there was a difference. The teeth were more straight up and down and suppose to cut both ways. From what I remember I didnt like it as well as the regular cheaper one as it tended to tear more.
