I really love to veneer. But I know so very little about it. I have aton of questions. My first is I have a homemade vacum press. It works fine. But I was wondering would I be better off investing in one of the standard professional vacupress. I'm just a hobbyist so my needs a broad. Like I say I'm happy with what I have but I think it is time to get something a little better. Thanks Hat

Hat,

your at the right place. if i had to buy another vacuum press i'd still choose vacupress brand. 8 years and mine still runs like a top.

depending on your budget i'd go after the hi-flo red model. as your skills and needs improve you won't have to upgrade.

but if you intend on limited use then buy what your comfortable with.

Craig
