What are most of you guys doing for gluing raw wood veneer to the edge of panels quickly? Is there a way to use the vacuum bag to put the pressure on the edges? We have a lot of edges to do on a job and it seems that clamping with bar clamps and pieces of wood doing 2 edges at a time is just a slow process and there must be a more efficient way to do it.

There really is no way to speed it up with clamps... See if you can find someone with an edgebander in your area that could put your panels through for you. I have a Holzher edge bander that does veneer and up to 1/8 solid timber edges. There are machines around that will put 1" solid timber on if you want.
