I have seen 1/8" Bendible Italian Poplar mentioned in a couple of posting so far. I am located Near Washington DC. Is there a source for this near here? If not where do I find it?

Are there common subsititutes?

Pat,

I would assume that 1/8" bending poplar should be around your area. The source would be the local wholesale plywood warehouse which sells to cabinet shops and lumber yards. You could look them up in the yellow pages and ask them which lumber yards they supply to in your area. Usually you can go to one of these lumber yards and make a special order for what you want.
