Finally found a scale for measuring portions of liquid resin and dry catalyst that seems almost perfect. It is a Salter Model 1010. Weighs up to 2 kilograms by gram, and up to 5 pounds by .01 ounce. I have been using the gram scale and found the scale very convenient.

I can zero out the scale with a plastic mixing tub on it, so that I am measuring just the liquid resin being poured. When finished with the resin, I can increment the total weight (resin plus catalyst) while adding the powder, or zero out the scale and measure just the powder. There are almost no cracks and crevices to catch things, and the cost was $30 at Linens & Things here in Cincinnati. A picture is attached.

Don,

I have an older scale that's not digital but can be zeroed out like your's can. It makes mixing glue very easy and allows any amount to be mixed with accuracy.

Thanks for posting the info.

Sincerely
