I'm making some sculpture stands out of 3/4" baltic birch plywood that I'd like to veneer in a vacuum bag using airform bladders if possible. The boxes all have 45 degree mitred side joints with 1/8" plywood splines, 45 degree mitred tops, and open bottoms. Three are simple rectangles: 11" x 11" x 30" tall, 12" x 12" x 36" tall, and 12" x 14" by 42" tall. The fourth is a truncated pyramid, 22" x 16" at the base, 15" x 9" at the top, and 33" tall.
On the www.vacupress.com web site, air bladders are sized with only 2 dimensions: 2' x 5', 2' x 9', 3' x 7', 3' x 10', and 4.5' x 10'. How would I determine the appropriate size(s) of air bladders for this and other types of applications?
Thanks.
