for use to make woodie panels. app. 14"x72" max. i just got a working thomas vacuum pump ( ebay) it has no valves gages etc. Is 6 mill vinyl ok? tape the seme? thanks loads for help. Gary

Gary,

If nothing else make sure your pump has a good filter jar on it as you dont want wood chips and dust being sucked into your pump.

As far as the bag goes I would get vinyl at least 20mil thick. 6mil wont hold up very well at all.
