Subject : glueing veneer to formica

Hi I need to cover up an area of formica countertop material with some teak veneer. What type of glue would be appropriate and what other steps should be taken for best results?

Dave,

I would do some aggresive sanding with a course grit on the formica and then use polyurethane glue for bonding.
