Subject : Salvaging a Bag

I've got an 18" rip along the seam of my 8' 20 mil vinyl bag. Any idea if this is salvageable?

Paul,

You can repair your seam by adding a long 2" strip of vinyl onto the side of the bag that ripped. Lay the patch flush with the outside of the bag, use the patch kit adhesive and clamp overnight with 1/4" boards and spring clamps. Be sure to wipe both the bag and patch with acetone befor proceeding
