Subject : Type of veneer backing

I'm going to reface some cabinets but plan to veneer the face frames. Which type is best? paper backed, no glue, or self adhesive?

Ron,

The paper backed veneer without an adhesive backing will give you a better long term bond. Of course this means you have to apply the glue and clamp everything but definitely superior.
