Subject : Will bloodwood fade over time?

Pretty self explanatory.

I'm planning a marquetry project that will involve some "autumn colored" maple leaves (deep red).

Either bloodwood, or I'll dye something, but if I can skip the dying process, it would be nice.

Sorry, I missed seeing your thread earlier.

My experience with blood wood is that it stays red, although I have not used it all that much.
