I have just ordered a Compact 100 system and need to make a bottom caul with vacuum pumping slots. If the bag is 49 x 49 what should the overall caul size be and what are the spacings and depths of the grooves? Thanks

Sjdixon,

The bag is actually 54"x60", large enough to fit a 49"x 49" platen. I suggest you wait until you get the press. The instructions will explain it quite well and there is a platen sleeve that comes with it that you will need to put in your platen before running the grooves.

Sincerely
