Subject : Time between layout and glue up

My projects get worked on the weekends. I am now getting into areas that can't be completed 'til next weekend. That is to say, I have designed, laid out the veneer, started tapeing, but don't have time to get the glue up and vac bag process completed. Question: If I water tape the veneer and leave it 'til next weekend before glue up - - - do I have a problem?

It depends on the timber type and how complicated the layout is.
I find I can leave taped layups for a few days, as long as they are covered up. In humid weather they sometimes move around a bit. I lay mine between MDF until ready to press.
