Subject : What brand name bendable plywood?

I'm having difficulty finding good bendable plywood. I had to special order a 3/8 sheet, only to find that it apparently will not accept glue-- it repeatedly delaminates after pressing. I suspect there is some sort of coating on the wood that interferes with glue bonding. A friend sent me some of the plywood he uses. It clearly was a different kind of plywood, and it seems to glue up just fine. Is there a brand name or a particular identifier for the type of bendable plywood useful for veneering? I suspect the wood I have is used for concrete work and is coated with something to minimize concrete adhesion.

I don't know a "BRAND" name but the 3/8" I use is called bending Luan from columbia forest products. I only use it for projects with a structure behind for support with 2 layers of the 3/8 material. For doors etc without any structural support I use 5 or 6 layers of 1/8" bending birch or poplar. Never had any problems this way. Tried a double layer of 3/8" on doors once and was unhappy with the results.Kerf core type materials are junk in my opinion used for cheap low end type work. Have had good luck with 1/4" bending mdf which is a multi kerf material but still like the 3/8" better.
