I'm a TA to a Prof at an architecture school. He's considering having his students appreciate modern plywood furniture by building an Eames chair (LCW) from the 1950's. They will be using a vacuum bag o/ a mdf caul. Where can we/ or the students obtain laminating "blanks." By this I mean trimmed and glued flitches approximately 1/20" thick @ 36 by 48". Ash would be fine. We're located in Boston. TIA. Regards,

Adolf

Adolf,

You may find it difficult to get ash veneer all taped or stitched up in the sizes you want unless you are buying huge quantities. I think you will have to buy the raw veneer and tape it up yourself. I suggest you contact Certainly Wood at www.certainlywood.com. They may be able to suggest a source for what you want. If not, Im sure they can sell you the raw veneer.

Sincerely
Darryl Keil
