I am laying up a cherry ply arch for a corner cabinet. I need a source of core materials. I have a source of end grain balsa but I would like to add layers in between that aren't $40-80.00 per sheet. The cherry veneer is going to set me back some already.I also need recomends on glue. I'll be using a simple vacuum bag.The current suggestion is Titebond veneer glue. Any feed back? Thanks for your help,S.T.

Dear Scott,Have you considered 3/8" or 1/8" bending ply for your core material. I think you will find it considerably cheaper and will do the job just fine.As far as the glue, I would use either a PVA glue or Urea resin. Both will work fine, the urea will give you a harder glue line and more open time, if that matters.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I am laying up a cherry ply arch for a corner cabinet.
