What are your feelings as far as using a water base lacquer over veneered products. Like the idea of low odor, and non flamable.

Dear Blew,Water based finishes are fine on veneer. Be aware that on darker woods they can leave a milky or washed out look. On these woods I apply an oil finish first, let that completely dry, and then use the water based finish on top.
