Subject : veneering a drawer front

Hi,I was wondering, do you need to use ****beading when veneering a drawer front. I want to veneer the frontand use dovetails for construction, but I would rather not use ****beading if I can.thanks rich s

I want to veneer the front: and use dovetails for construction, but I would rather not use ****beading if I can.: thanks : rich sOnly if you want to hide the substrate. if you band the substrate prior to veneering, then you can just sand the edge to the drawer and no one should know the difference and you could also rout the edge and once again, no one the wiser. Or just veneer over solid stock and do the same as mentioned above.Douglas Vincent
