Dear Paul,To sharpen a veneer saw I actually do not file the teeth at all. I grind a bevel on one side of the blade so I end up with a knife edge with teeth in it. This makes for a much cleaner cut, more like knifing action with teeth assist, rather than sawing. Make sure you put the bevel on the opposite side to where your fence would be. You want a straight down cut on the piece of veneer you will be keeping. The bevel part of the cut should be on the scrap piece.SincerelyDarryl Keil: To sharpen a veneer saw do I just use a triangle file and file 90 : degrees (perpendicular) to the blade between each tooth?
