For those who may not know, a sonotube is a plastic cylindrical form commonly used by construction companies as a form for making cylindrical concrete bridge, parking lot and other support structures. The tubes come in various diameters.Amateur Hi Fi speaker builders use Sonotubes to build transmission line speakers. Now here's the question: What kind of glue do you use to apply veneer to the curved surface of a sonotube?Alternatively, if you first glue on 1/4 inch bending plywood and then veneer the plywood, what glue would you use for the plywood-sonotube bond?ThanksKevin

Dear Kevin,The sonotubes I am familiar with are usually made out of paperboard, I have not seen the plastic ones. My suggestion would be to use a polyurethane glue since it sticks well to just about everything, including you.SincerelyDarryl Keil: For those who may not know, a sonotube is a plastic cylindrical form commonly used by construction : companies as a form for making cylindrical concrete bridge, parking lot and other support structures.
