Subject : Check cracks in Satinwood - filler recommendations?

Hi: I have some panels (1/4" MDF) that I've veneered with some beautiful beeswing Satinwood (thanks Flamingo!).Unfortunately, like most beautifully figured woods, this comes at the price of some inevitable cracks...I'm trying to fill thin cracks of ~2" length. Any good suggestions out there, particularly from someone that has direct experience with this very silica rich, unique hardwood? I'm finishing the panels with spar varnish, and leveling is not a problem, I'm just trying to avoid the dark black/brown lines that will result from 'not filling.'Thanks,-t

Give it a try on a sample to see what it looks like.SincerelyDarryl Keil: direct experience with this very silica rich, unique hardwood?
