: I am interested in producing 1 1/2" thick panels, using 2 sheets of Dear Steve,Vacuum clamping pressure will work fine on what you are doing, and you can stack as many sheets as you can get in before the glue begins to tack on the first panel. Poly is always the superior bag if you are willing to pay the extra, but either bag will do your job fine, poly will just last longer. Try not to over glue your panels and glue squeeze out will be kept to a minimum. Most glues will not stick to the bag so dont worry about it.SincerelyDarryl Keil: 3/4" material. The material being used is MDF and Baltic Birch. The : sheet size is 16" x 48". Will vacuum bag clamping press these two : sheets together sufficiently? If so, would vinyl or poly offer an : advantage? How many of these "sandwiches" could I put in a bag at : once? I would like to laminate 4 complete panels (8 sheets of 3/4"): at a time, making the total thickness 6". What will happen to any : glue squeeze-out that will occur?
