The front bottom panel of our oak veneer door is coming off in a water damaged buckled sort of look. ($2.00 garage sale find) I know nothing about veneer or glue or ironing ... Also a 3 by 4 inch piece of veneer is missing from the bottom corner. Perhaps someone could recommend a book which would give me some basic information on how I could tackle this project. Thanks for your time.Deb

Dear Deb,Try the "Veneering Book" by David Sath Square. You can order it from Taunton Press, the folks that do Fine Woodworking magazine.SincerelyDarryl Keil: The front bottom panel of our oak veneer door is coming off in a water : damaged buckled sort of look.
