I do many large projects as I work for an Architectural mill firm. My desires are for re-usability in the bag. and to be able to set-up quickly. Most of my projects are balance ie. veneered both sides. booked balanced and centered, and in saying that I mean that my cauls will ussually go with the product. I did several elevator lobby doors 7' wide by 12' tall. all on a continuious radius . the interior was a lattice work to maintain the radius skinned both sides with 1/8" MDF, then veneered with cherry. it worked fine but I would like some ideas on a vacum table that I can throw my stuff in and suck it down. again and again. I have the design in my head. I need to know what Plastic/ rubber/ vinyl is required for excellent vacum pressing. I just completed 3,000 square feet of curved ceiling out of maple that I flat pressed (heat) onto 1/4" MDF then glued to my cauls. I have limited space so a sixteen by sixteen vacum table is not what I'm looking for unless I can break it down and store it relatively easy while not in use. I'm new to this forum and this is just a start as to the many challeges I get everyday.I do hope I can recieve and give useful information. thanks in advance.
