Daryl,Is Unibond 800 likely to bleed through the walnut burl veneer with a 10mm backer on it? Also, I am veneering some odd shapedforms that make it impossible to trim the edges with a laminatetrimmer (my usual method). Do you have any ideas for gettinga good crisp trimmed edge so the veneer on the other side ofcorner will lay tight to the first piece and show no line? Thanks,Dean

Dear Dean,Dont worry about bleed through with any backed veneer, you wont have any. As far as trimmingodd shapes, its hard to make recommendations when I cant see what they look like, but myapproach would be to cut it close with a sharp knife blade and sand it down flush with somesandpaper on a block of wood so you get a crisp edge. I hope that helps.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Daryl,: Is Unibond 800 likely to bleed through the walnut burl veneer : with a 10mm backer on it?
