Wondering if a 5 gal portable air tank would be OK as part of a vacuum system to slow down pump cycling. Thinking about a new 125psi tank with no dents etc. Is there any issue with implosion here as long as the tank is in good shape?

Dear Erik,There is no problem adding a tank to your vacuum system. Air pressure is much greater thanvacuum pressure so you will be fine. If you could tighten up your system and find the leaksyou would not need to add a tank.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Wondering if a 5 gal portable air tank would be OK as part of a vacuum : system to slow down pump cycling.
