In your recent reply you state: "on a good grade of plywood, having the face veneer run the same directionas the one underneath is not a real problem.." Specifically: I plan on a sunburst pattern veneer on 3/4" furniture grade plywood,does the plywood grain orientation make a difference? Are there any pro's/cons in using MDF or particle board instead of plywood?thanxpeter b.

Dear Peter,With a sunburts pattern I really recommend you use MDF or particle board because the veneeris going in a number of directions and you have a lot of seams that you dont want any problemswith.
