I have a bedroom set that is a dark cherry wood veener and is peeling, it is a very thin veener and it looks like there is a pressedpartical board underneath. I would like to redo it to look like a light wood with white along the edges and in the groves like some of the new furniture out these days. I do not know where to begin with this project or if it can be done, but would prefer to use paint instead of a veener if possible.Sylvia

Dear Sylvia,Im not sure if you have a particular question here but I will say that painting might be easier if you dont want to re-veneer, althoug if the veneer is peeling badly you may have to jump in and get you feet wet with some basic veneering anyway. I might suggest getting our video "Working with Veneer" It will introduce you to veneering and demonstrate how you would go about doing it step by step.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I have a bedroom set that is a dark cherry wood veener and is : peeling, it is a very thin veener and it looks like there is a pressed: partical board underneath.
