Dear Steve,Your "slip" or what I call cross banding veneer can be almost anything. Paperback is fine or a wide backer grade raw veneer is also good, I often use backer grade polar or mahogany. There is also a paper product called Yorkite that is good for this purpose. What you use is not that critical.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Greetings again!: I havent been this excited about woodworking (Im a lifelong full time woodworker) in long time. Cant wait to start : VACUUMING. Mustnt let the women in my life hear this though... : I will be laminating 3/4" curved doors out of 3 layers of 3/8 wiggle wood with a veneer "slip" between the layers.: What is the best, easiest, cheapest veneer to use for these internal "slips." Ive been assuming paperbacked is: ok for this purpose. Is their another choice?: Thanks for this and my other questions I forgot to sign: Steve Levinson
