Dear T. Michael,You can use the same technique as in the Working in a Vacuum video but I would do a sampleof the sharpest curved area as a test, just to be sure. My only additional thought is, if thisdetail is on the underside of the table why go through all the trouble for a edge treatment youwont really see. Also, if the technique in the video doesnt work well enough, and since its on the underside you could always come back in a second shot and veneer just the bevel itself. The grain wont match the same, but since its not the top, I assume it would be OK.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I am veneering an oval table top (30"x20") for a coffe table. I am : going to add about a 30 degree bevel the the bottom edge of the top : to give it a thinner look. Is it possible to veneer this conical : surface after the bevel is cut? I have seen Daryl Kiel video where : he veneers a radiused edge on a circular table. Is this a similar : technique?
