Dear Dwiyantoro,Veneering a cylinder and getting the return joint tight requires pressing it in two steps. In the first step, you put glue on three quarters of the cylinder with the veneer going all the way around and overlaping at the joint with extra veneer. Press it up like this. When you take it out there is only a small amount of the veneer on the cylinder un-glued. Cut through both layers of veneer to get your final joint, peal back the un-glued area, apply glue and press again for the second time. On this second gluing its important to use a non-water based glue like polyurethane or epoxy so the veneer wont swell and jump the joint, so to speak. A full step by step demostration of this is in our video "Working in a Vacuum" which is discribed in our web site.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Dear Darryl Keil: I would like to ask about how to veneering a cylinder or tube as shown at VacuPress brochure you sent to us.: Thank you.: sincerely,: Dwiyantoro
