How thin must one resaw veneer in order to confidently use MDF as a substrate and expect no future problems with wood movement?I expect that I will be using walnut and maple and probably MDF as a substrate. If the veneers are 1/8 of an inch thick should I expect problems? Thanks for any help.SincerelyMichael Lomax

Dear Michael,The answer is somewhat dependant on your climate and seasonal humidity changes but a general rule is not more than 3/32". I recommend 1/16" to play it safe.
