Dear Brian,To get good results with your mahogany veneer you need to find some way to press it. If you dont, the only practical option is to use contact cement which will not give you long term satisfactoryresults. As far as a glue to use for pressing, you can use a white or yellow glue which will work fine for your project or you can use urea resin glue for a premium glue line. These glues require a press. You may want to consider a vacuum press.Your only other option without a press is to do hammer veneering which takes time, practice and a fair amount of skill to master. This technique is mainly used by antique restorers who need to match the original glue and methods used.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Help!!!: I am new to veneering and do not have access to a press. Which glue : is the best for applying mahogany venner to mdf. I am making some : large floorstanding speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated: Many thanks: Brian
