Darryl, You have probably answered this question inthe past but couldn't find it. Since I have one of your presses and have a need for a few sheets of French Walnut plywood can I use maple plywood (Gold Ply) and simply put the veneer on one side? Probably not huh. Does it it need to be layed up in two plys? PVA or Unibond? Seems silly to pay the price quoted me to lay up this stuff, $18 sq. ft. Haven't used this press much but sure opens up the door. Also it looks as if you have a full time job answering all thes questions!

Dear Marc,Although you can put a lesser grade veneer on the back you really need to veneer both sides of your panel otherwise it will warp as the glue cures. Also be sure to use the same glue on both sides so the "pull" they create is equal.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Darryl, You have probably answered this question inthe past but : couldn't find it.
