Hello:My veneer saw bought new from Flamingo does not keep a sharp edge formore than a few minutes. I have tried may replacement blades andalways sharpened them as required. I am using the substrate (MDF) tocut the veneer. I notice that I am cuting into the MDF everytime Icut veneer. Is my technique wrong or am I using the wrong saw? I amcutting rosewood, sapele, curly koa and other standard veneers. (Noteak as yet). Thanks for your helpKevin

Dear Kevin,I dont use a veneer saw much but have never found it to dull that fast, even into MDF.I dont know how you sharpen your veneer saw but I put a bevel on the edge so the saw is like a knife with teeth. This seems to work good for me and cuts very well for a while.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Hello:: My veneer saw bought new from Flamingo does not keep a sharp edge for: more than a few minutes.
