I have made four stool tops using a two-part mould and 7 sheets of 1.5mm beech plywood. I have glued these with a water based adhesive called cascamite. This has worked well for the seats but when i applied it to the top veneer sheet, 0.6mm, it warped. I then went on to try a contact adhesive, Evo-Stick but this did not allow me time to bend the veneer. The stool surface is not a flat surface it has a one way bend. i am looking for any advice on glues and the best way to attach a thin top veneer.

Dear Khashaya,I think the glue your using is fine, but I would veneer both sides of your stool tops to prevent the warping you are having.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I have made four stool tops using a two-part mould and 7 sheets : of 1.5mm beech plywood.
