Dear Joel,Dear Joel,As far as edging goes, I just butt glue it as long as it is fairly small. I have not seen Franks video so I dont know how much tape he uses. With veneer tape, basically use as much as needed to get a good tight joint. The more you put on the more you have to take off, which is extra work, so I only use what I have to. Yes, refrigeration will extend Unibond 800 shelf life.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I just got Daryll's video and am really pleased. His explanations : are concise and easy to understand. I have a couple of questions. : First, what is the preferred method for attaching solid wood edging, : simple glue joint or busciuts? Second, I also have Frank Pallero: 's vidoe on veneering a chessboard. I see that Frank uses alot more : veneer tape than Daryll. Is that just personal preferrence? It : seems that sanding and finishing are much easier with less tape. : Also I just got a gallon of Unibond. Should I refridgerate to extend : shelf life?
