Subject : Caul for tapered leg

I want to veneer shaker stlye tapered leg that starts out straight to receive a table apron and then taper to the leg bottom. Would 1/4 in masonite be ok for a caul or should I use bending plywood?

Joel, 1/8 inch masonite would be better or the bending ply would be fine too. John.
