Dear Russell,Because of the foil, regular glue does not have much absorbent surface for the glue to penetrate into. If the glue is applied only to the substrate you can have poor transfer to the veneer. I suggest apply the glue lightly to both surfaces. Also rough up the back of the veneer with 80grit sandpaper. I assume you are using a press of some kind with sufficient pressure, if not that could also be part of the problem. Without having a direct in depth conversation with you this is what I suggest. SincerelyDarryl Keil: Hey Guys- I am using some pommele sappele veneer for a custom : kitchen, 4 layer ( wood, paper, foil, paper) . Has anyone had any : experience with this?
