Daryl, I've watched your videos many times and now am attempting my first curved drawer fronts. I built the form and made sure it was square and true. I glued 2 layers of 3/8 bending plywood but didn't put a layer of veneer between. I hope this will be OK as the curve is very slight and gentle. Now I'm ready to apply my 2-ply veneer face. However I have noticed that the face of the plywood is not very smoothe. It has small indentations in it, big enough so that I noticed the bag sunk into them when pressing. Is this rough face normal and will a 2-ply veneer be OK over it or should I try to put another layer on ? I can't find 1/8 bending ply but I do have 1/8 luan that easily shapes over the panel. Is this OK even though it is not rated as "bending" plywood. Thanks so much for your advice.

Dear Kelly,The two ply will cover most of the imperfections in the bending ply but I would suggest hand sanding the surface with a block to even things out a bit.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Daryl,: I've watched your videos many times and now am attempting my first curved drawer fronts.
